You don't present any strong arguments here. The fact that people perceive something they call "free will" or "personality" in other people doesn't prove that these qualities are non-deterministic. And your division of the world into living and non-living things is also a bit too simplistic. Where do you draw the line?
There are AIs capable of fooling many humans into thinking that they're having a conversation with a real person. In that sense, they exhibit a personality. But most people would agree that these AIs are neither alive nor do they have free will.
